As Mali WASH Alliance (MWA) we are proud to work with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) that are specialized in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene. We support projects that aim at improving life in vulnerable and marginalized communities, that lack access to basic services such as safe water, sustainable sanitation facilities and hygiene.
The Mali WASH Alliance has broad expertise in:
Lobby and advocacy to influence policies on WASH
Information, Education and Communication for behavioral change on water, sanitation and environmental protection
Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM)
Gender approach in WASH Sector
Sustainability has a central place within the Mali WASH Alliance program. To us, sustainability is based on a simple principle that everything we need for our own survival and well-being depends, either directly or indirectly, on our natural environment. Sustainability creates and maintains the conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony, that permit fulfilling the social, economic and other requirements of present and future generations.
The Mali WASH Alliance (MWA) is a non-profit organization created by the law N°04-038 on 5 august 2004 as regard to civil society organization on 21st September 2011 in Bamako with support of Dutch WASH Alliance.
